Why is my sterilizer cycle not completing properly?

My sterilization unit starts normally, but the cycle does not complete as expected. Sometimes it stops in the middle, and in other cases the instruments come out with moisture remaining. I already checked the water level and cleaned the chamber, but the issue continues. What are the most common reasons for this, and what should I inspect first before requesting maintenance?

This usually points to maintenance or loading issues: Overloading the chamber can prevent proper steam circulation. Check door seal (gasket) for leakage. Water quality: Use distilled water only; minerals can affect performance. Blocked filters or valves can interrupt cycles. Drain system issues may leave moisture on instruments. Incorrect packaging (too tight) can trap moisture. Heating element or pressure sensor faults may stop cycles midway.
