I am experiencing image distortion and unclear scan results on my CBCT scanner. The issue started recently, and I am not sure whether it is related to calibration, sensor positioning, or software settings. I already restarted the system and checked the basic setup, but the problem still exists. What steps should I follow to calibrate it correctly, and how can I confirm the issue is not hardware-related?

For CBCT distortion or unclear images: Run manufacturer calibration protocol (usually phantom-based calibration). Check patient positioning: Incorrect alignment causes distortion. Inspect sensor and detector for dust or damage. Verify software settings: Resolution, FOV, and exposure parameters. Restart system & update software/firmware. Check for movement artifacts during scanning. Review error logs if available.
